A Lincoln woman bought a new custom made sofa set but she started seeing problems right away. Heimerich says once you sign for furniture during delivery, often you’re saying you accept it as is. But Anna says she never signed anything. It’s not only uncomfortable, Anna says the sectional she ordered from Furniture For Less in September is also missing pillows and ripped within the first few months. And the chaise they delivered has different colored legs, not matching the black legs on the couch. “If it’s clearly not what you ordered, then you shouldn’t accept delivery of it because you didn’t order it,” says Russ Heimerich, California Department of Consumer Affairs spokesperson. She bought the sofa from Furniture For Less in Sacramento. And it’s the second couch she’s received. “The legs are wide and a brown color,” says Anna.
